Let's go skiing

We had a good time at Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre. It was a beautiful day, and the weather was mild and sunny. Yes, I saw the cozy fireplace, the blue ski hill with chair lift, the bunny hill with rope tow and "magic carpet," boots, snowboards, skis, poles, and helmets... everything that I had never seen before. My son had a lot of fun playing in the snow. He was very tired when he went home. So he went to bed early last night and got up very late this morning.

A Good Time

My mother, my son and I had a good time at Ryerson University yesterday. I'm sorry that we were late to Ryerson University's ENG Building. The beautiful campus building left a deep impression on me. When we finished shopping in Loblaws supermarket, Ping and her daughter went to Yonge St. & Dandus St. with us. Then Ping and her daughter went to Canadian Tire to buy a helmet for her daughter, and we went to Eaton Centre. We met them again when we ate lunch at a food court in Eaton Centre. Ping said she had forgot her bag at Canadian Tire, so she hurried back to the store, and left her daughter with me. Ten minues later, Ping came back happily with her bag. Finally, we took the subway to go home.

A SNOW STORM

I didn't go to Fairview Mall last Friday because the weather was terrible. At first, I wanted to send my daughter to daycare, and then go with my son to Fairview Mall. When I started the engine, my husband called me. He told me that I should stay at home, as there was too much ice on the road. His friend had just hit the curb. It was too dangerous to drive. So I stayed at home with my children, and I didn't go anywhere that day.

We attended an amazing concert at Roy Thomson Hall yesterday! It was very beautiful singing and very entertaining! I can't believe I joined and was so honoured to sing with Toronto Mass Choir! It was just a Christmas gift for us!
Toronto Mass Choir's music incorporates contemporary gospel, traditional gospel and Caribbean music influences. In particular, Toronto Mass Choir’s combination of gospel lyrics with a variety of musical styles has resulted in a style unique in Canada. Roseola

This week, my 12-month-old daughter had roseola. She was cranky and miserable. My daughter had a sudden high fever at 39.5℃ that lasted 3 days. I worried about the rapid increase in temperature. After the fever ended, a rosy-pink rash appeared mostly on the trunk, neck, arms and face. The rash was not itchy and lasted 3 days. My daughter behaved almost normally, except for a loss of appetite and sleep.
Since I didn't know roseola existed before my first baby got it, My son got it when he was nine months.
My family doctor told me that roseola is a mild illness caused by a virus. It is generally harmless and is most common in children 6 months to 2 years of age. And once you have had it, you wouldn't get it again.
Roseola is most contagious during the fever period. Unfortunately, this is also the time when most parents do not know their baby or child has roseola and so exposes to other young children. Generally, the child has no other symptoms during this time.
We were very fortunate when it was all over!
